An application of existential philosophy to leadership development
Our speaker this month is Eric Spencer who will offer impressions from a study he recently conducted concerned with business leadership conversations. The foundation of his talk is an existential one, where a focus on perceptions and choice provides the means for finding purpose in and for professional leadership. His interest and work is in conversations with individuals as leaders who desire to develop their potential and to assist and support them in their learning and quest for meaning.
Eric has a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University in Washington and a Masters of Philosophy from the University of Stellenbosch. He is currently employed as the Learning and Organisational Development Executive for a large local firm.
