Coffee cupping (or tasting) is the process of discerning the aroma and flavour of specialty coffees; in October, you can enjoy a sensory coffee journey and engage in the alluring aromas and fascinating flavours of some of the world’s finest coffees, at a coffee tasting morning on Saturday 15 October at 09h00 in Somerset West.
Zita Rabek, coffee connoisseur and owner of The Coffee Roasting Company, which sells over two-an-a-half tonnes of coffee every month, will takes us on a short journey of discovery at their premises on Lourensford Wine Estate, detailing the history of coffee, and the process of selecting, roasting and grinding beans, and then we’ll have an opportunity to taste three of their most sought-after single-origin coffees.
