Members of Mensa Winelands are privileged to be hosted by Richard Freedman, the Centre Director, for a very special, private, guided tour of the recently-refurbished Cape Town Holocaust and Genocide Centre.
Many survivors and their families, local and international, have donated photographs and materials to the Centre, which is used by numerous researchers for their research projects.
Richard will explain the significance of the exhibits, which comprise text and photo panels, archival documents and film footage, multimedia displays, artefacts and recreated environments, and highlight the South African context and aspects, as well as share with us very personal stories about some of the people that are featured.
Numbers are limited and booking is compulsory.
Further information from the Winelands Secretary.
