Post House Wines is an exclusive, award-winning, boutique winery which specialises in small quantities of hand-crafted wines, made using traditional wine-making methods, predominantly for the export market.
The farm is not usually open to the public. Owner and winemaker Nicholas Gebers will treat members to a personal cellar tour and wine-tasting of his signature collection, which boasts distinctive labels such as ‘Penny Black’, ‘Missing Virgin’, ‘Merry Widow’, and ‘Treskilling Yellow’; all named for rare stamps (the homestead on the farm originally operated as a post office).
You have an option of two tours: the first tour is at 11h00, and the second tour is at 16h00. The duration of the tour is approximately two hours.
Snacks will be served.
Numbers are strictly limited and bookings will be taken on a first come, first served basis. There’s no charge for members – Mensa Winelands are sponsoring their members at this event; should you wish to bring a guest, the cost is R 65, payable in advance.
