Join the members of Mensa Winelands for a private tour at the Norval Foundation on Saturday 17 June, at 10h30.
The Norval Foundation is dedicated to the research, understanding and care of twentieth and twenty-first century visual art from Africa and its diasporas.
The Foundation is housed in a contemporary building with breathtaking views, situated within an indigenous garden and protected wetland, and offers both indoor and outdoor curated gallery spaces, as well as a celebrated sculpture garden, featuring works by (inter alia) William Kentridge, Edoardo Villa, and Speelman Mahlangu.
We will enjoy a private tour with one of the Foundation’s curators; for those that wish to linger, we’ll adjourn afterwards to the Skotnes Restaurant, situated within the Foundation, for a light lunch.
The chapter is partially subsidising the cost of this excursion. Members pay R 100, guests pay R 200. Lunch is for own account.
RSVP to the Winelands Secretary. Booking close on Tuesday 13 June.
