Winelands members will enjoy a private tour of the SA Navy submarine the SAS Queen Modjadji I at the Simon’s Town Naval Base on Saturday 31 August at 14h00.
SAS Queen Modjadji I is a variant of the Type 209 diesel-electric attack submarine developed by Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft (HDW) of Germany,
Numbers are very limited and members are restricted to inviting one guest only. All visitors are required to furnish a copy of their ID document to the Winelands Secretary by Friday 23 August, and will need to present their ID documents at the gate to the naval base.
