As the world has become more digitised, cyber threats and cyber crime have become increasingly rampant in our society. These cyber crimes often have devastating consequences.
In this presentation, industry expert Winston Hayden will be explaining some of the techniques used by cyber criminals to compromise computers, networks and user accounts.
Winston Hayden is a recognized industry leader in Information Technology and Digital Governance, and Cybersecurity. He has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, across various sectors. He has worked with institutions such as Old Mutual, Liberty, PWC, Nedbank, Zurich Insurance, Alexander Forbes, Dimension Data, Telkom, Anglo Platinum, EDS, Foster-Melliar, Analytix, Abbey National Bank UK, Gensec Bank, Hollard Insurance, SANBS, the Auditor General of South Africa & the United Nations.
He is a former Executive and President of ISACA South Africa (the largest association representing IT governance, risk and security professionals in South Africa). During his tenure as president, the chapter was recognised as the Best Chapter Worldwide. Winston has contributed towards various IT governance publications most notably the King III Report of Corporate Governance, and the COBIT5 and COBIT2019 Governance Frameworks. He has also been member of the South African National Standards ISO Development Workgroup for IT Governance (ISO-38500) and IT Service Management (ISO-20000). As an accredited ITIL & COBIT trainer, Winston has presented numerous training programmes, presented at international conferences and also lectured at universities
