Mensa Winelands’ monthly speaker evening.
Many people know Nadine Blom as a popular Afrikaans singer, songwriter, entrepreneur and music producer. Some know that she was crowned Mrs United Nations South Africa in 2006, and was runner-up to the eventual international winner.
Not many are aware that she is was admitted to the Law Society of S A as an attorney in 2001, nor that she is a passionate campaigner for human rights; she obtained her Master’s Degree in International Law from the University of Johannesburg with her thesis on ‘Human Trafficking’, and this will form the topic of her presentation at our May speaker evening.
