Join us for a private tour of the S A Naval Museum on Saturday 22 October at 14h00
Housed in the former Royal Navy Mast House (which dates back to 1815) and the adjacent Dutch Store House (that dates back to 1743), the Museum is located in the historic West Dockyard of Naval Base Simon’s Town and displays the history of the S A Navy from its early origins in 1922, through to its involvement during and after WWII, as well as showcasing the historical ties with the British Royal Navy.
We will meet at the museum for a private tour, which will take approximately one hour.
For those that wish to linger, we’ve booked a table at The Brass Bell in Kalk Bay for after the tour, for some liquid refreshment.
Please note that numbers are limited for this excursion and booking is essential. Please RSVP to the Winelands Secretary.
