‘Lessons from the roof’

‘Lessons from the Roof’ is the story about a woman who went to sleep in a suburb and woke up with one foot in the township. She went up the roof a white petition-signing liberal and came down a member of an illegal electricity stokvel.

Vivienne Vermaak

Vivienne Vermaak is an award-winning investigative journalist, writer, director and public speaker. She is perhaps best known for being the most loved and most hated presenter on ‘Going Nowhere Slowly’ SA’s favourite travel show, but regards playing the tall germ, ‘Terie’ in Mina Moo as a career highlight. She is currently a creative director in the advertising industry and a columnist on the side. She does jiu-jitsu and has a red, ’69 Chev Impala.
